We also add sling mounts and a picatinny rail off the front sling mount for mounting a bipod, laser, light... but we recommend a "Over-Bore" Bipod to keep your K1 low and under the bipod so wind doesn't blow it over. Pick Here to see our Over-Bore bipod offering. We don't recommend adding a moderator to the end of the K1, that just make it unnecessarily long (you get a bullpup because it's short and nimble). The K1 already has a 12 baffle silencer built into the shroud, it's a bit disrespectful to be putting on a second silencer and saying the factory design is inferior. (fyi, the shroud endcap is very hard to remove and requires a special tool so you don't damage it, it's not meant to be removed and replaced.) and (Fyi - 2 the carbon fiber shroud is easily damaged by the extended weight of a silencer and if bumped, you will strip the threads out of the carbon fiber, once damaged the standard endcap can't be re-installed. Yes, the .25 cal magazines too have rifling guides and our hand cast slugs do snap properly into them.
Another old wives tale, you can't unload the Huben magazine! ohh yes you can.. or at least we can. watch and see how easy it is.
Your Huben K1 isn't like other air rifles where you have to force off the fill cap... The fill cap shouldn't be pulled off... it slides out of the way, pretty easy, but if you do force it... it will come off and the springs and ball bearings that hold it on will spring out (you will need a magnet to find them, they are very small)
Huben does give you one chance to recover from this... extra springs and balls are included in the spare O-ring kit. |
If your compressor or hand-pump doesn't have moisture removal capability or you just want more protection for the internals of your K1, this might be the option for you.
You loose the ability to have a pressure gauge on your gun, but most pumps and compressors have better quality gauges on them and you know your pressure when your filling. With a bit of practice and experience you will know if you can shoot 1 mag or 10 mags before you should refill, so a gauge on the rifle really isn't needed. This assembly comes with some moisture capturing material, I could be paper, cotton, desiccant, what ever material you have available can give you added moisture protection. This is all external to the high pressure tanks and no tools are needed to inspect and change the moisture trapping material. What Huben do you have? What Gen Huben?.... we don't know.... Huben doesn't use "Gen" to distinguish it's models, but here is how it works.

Operation of the Huben K1:
- Always keep your air tank pressure higher than your regulator pressure. Default regulator setting is approx. 17mpa, it's best to keep your tank pressure between 20-30mpa for high power shooting,
- The power wheel adjustment is a fine adjust of your internal regulator pressure. 20-25 clicks from closed is a good starting point.
- The internal regulator pressure controls the force used to turn your magazine. Pellets above the surface of the magazine can cause drag pressure that keeps the magazine from turning or partially turning and can cause high pressure air to blow-out from the magazine area. (always wear ear protection)
- Additional noise suppression can adversely affect the operation of your Huben K1, The rifle is very adequately suppressed from the factory.

Huben Repairs, We have been doing all repairs inhouse. We have one certified repair technician who is also the owner of the business so repairs are made during "free time" like days off (open 7 days a week, there are no days off). You will be billed for time and materials at a reasonable rate. (reasonable for the repair shop)
We do not provide estimates but will contact you if we feel the repair is extensive and requires your authorization. Time for repair may be unreasonable, we are sorry but that is the current reality. Parts are coming from overseas so we have to combine part orders with product orders. Life Happens to us too.
